Even though it has been terrifically hot, as you can see, I've been thinking cool thoughts. I made this beret for my sister last year, and since she lives in another province, I decided, last week, to whip up another one for me. The Dolan is a quick and easy knit. |
George and Martha Washington, I presume. |
I was surprised to see Yarrow and Brown-Eyed Susans so early, so thought I'd share. I hope all of you are enjoying summer! |

Beautiful beret being blocked on a plate! Flowers everywhere are one reason I love the summer!
Thanks Carolyn. It's a quick knit, and I love knitting with Quince and Co. yarn (s).
I was recently in upstate N.Y and there were flowers every where. It was so beautiful. I hope to have some pics soon.
Very nice berets. I am not a hat person, or I would be tempted. Love your creative nature shots.
Thanks, Penny. It's fun to try out the different frames that word has for pictures; it seems I can't resist, but tend to get a bit carried away!
