The snow came early, and soon disappeared, and now its back again. More downy flakes are drifting down as I type. With a foot of snow on the ground, it's a magical world out there.
I haven't been out much, but hope to get back to walking through the woods soon.
Must see the sights and see and feed the birdies.

A useful tip. Easy to hang artwork: put a paper clip on the back of masking tape and stick the masking tape on wall and use a magnet to hang a photo or artwork. (Tip I noticed on Instagram or Pinterest.)
Maybe next time all will be in order.
Looking forward to getting busy at the easel in the New Year.
The art club has plans for three shows—March, June and September.
there was a postal strike so, sadly, no cards were sent or received.
It can be difficult to find good watercolour paper, but I thought I’d try a small watercolour block of 60 sheets of cold press 100% cotton paper from Amazon.
I drew the Grinch on top of 60 sheets so it was precarious from that height. I erased a lot, and it didn't damage the paper at all! You can paint on top of the block and let dry, so no need to flatten later, or remove a sheet and paint on it, of course. The paper is 140lb, so I do not think it will buckle too much if you paint on a single sheet. It will be interesting to see how a full landscape turns out. If all goes well, hen I need a new sketchbook I will order
from Lightwish.
You can check out the watercolour block here
The halls are decked and I added a few new ornaments this year, including this glittering teapot. Definitely fun for tea lovers.
Has anyone tried the new Google button?

Your Grinch is convincing. And I love the little tea pot ornament.
Your drawing is amazing. I wish I could draw.
Happy T-Day,
Lisca
Your card is great and so festive. It motivates me to clean up some of my art mess and make a board. :) We have the same snow and cold...it's great for art though the cold has been tough to get outside for long. Nice tea pot ornament too. It's very pretty. I hope you have a super week ahead and T day too. hugs-Erika
Your artwork is lovely, and oh to be able to draw like that. Enjoyed visiting you. Merry Christmas to you too.
Bellas imagenes. te mando un beso.
Your art has so much character.
I especially love that wonderfully expressive Grinch.
I enjoyed this delightful glimpse into your winter world.
Merry Christmas and happy holidays.
What magical winter scenes! Your Amaryllis is beautiful, and I love the expressive Grinch drawing! Happy holidays!
The photos and your art is lovely!
Oh, how I loved seeing your work space and the beautiful winter scenes. That's a handsome amaryllis. Thanks for the tape/clip/magnet tip and also the link to the pad you like. Your grinch is making me smile, too! (Please tell me your art desk isn't always that tidy!) Sending all good wishes for a wonderful Christmas! I hope it is merry, safe and bright!
Love all the snow shots. Beautiful. We don't get snow here.
Love that beautiful flower too. You're also very crafty.
Thank you for joining the Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous day and week. ♥
Beautiful photos - and love your amaryllis! Someone gifted us a solid color red one and we are loving it. I am not good with plants so the fact that it does not need water or much light is perfect. Thanks for visiting Our New Vista!
Lovely white photos
🎄much love
