Looking Up

Beautiful Blue

Hi Everyone,

  How are you good folks?

Birds nest are fun to see this time of year.  Once the foliage comes out, we don’t see what is happening in the trees.
I saw one tree in my neighborhood with three nests in it. Seems rather unusual, but
perhaps the nests are fashioned by the same bird species. It’s difficult to tell because the trees are so tall.

                                                     Earl Grey hot.

Pleased to Join T Stands for Tuesday this week.

                                                            The Marsh.
                                                   Pastel on Pastelmat paper.

Back in business as usual over hear with the desktop computer up and running. Many thanks to Jesse. It needed a new power supply that had to be ordered from the factory--took forever. He did open the sealed tower and get the job done so all is well. Up periscope from my corner of the map.

Most appliances and computers do not last that long these days it seems. I remember having a Maytag washing machine that lasted for so many year.  Guess they can recycle the metal, but all other parts might just in up in the land fill?

She looks a little shocked. It's the March weather look.

Used  Caran D'Ache Neocolor II to add a bit of colour.

Pleased to be linking to Nicole's Friday Face Off

Speaking of March, it has been a month of surprises. It came in like a lamb and has thrown all sorts of weather at us.
+ 20C, -15C, and all temps in between, sun, freezing rain, a lot of snow storms etc. But I did see a brave robin on the 18th. I hope he made it.

I this part of the world we say that if  March comes in like a lamb it usually goes out like a lion, or vice versa.

                                                                    Praying for peace.

Be well and stay strong.

Linking to Link Parties via my link party page.

                                                   Thanks to everyone for hosting.

We've watched the doves make nests here. It's a most wonderful thing to see.

Love your paintings and love those flowers. The colors are amazing.

Thank you for joining the Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.

Have a fabulous Happy Tuesday and week. ♥

Beautiful sky.
I love your marsh painting.
Oh yes, your 'face' looks rather shocked. Lovely drawing though.
Re bird's nest in the tree, here in Spain we have processionary caterpillars who make large nests in trees, that look like nests from afar. March is the time the caterpillars move in long 'head-to-tail' processions on the ground.
Happy T-Day,
Lisca

Sorry I'm late visiting. Late Monday night the fiber optic snapped and broke due to high winds. My neighbor called ATT and they finally sent someone out to string a new line.

What amazing and wonderful sky shots. Those clouds are so fluffy. They remind me of cotton balls. And you are lucky to see so many bird nests in a single tree.

LOVE your vignette of the painting, candle, and tea in the mug. It is perfect for T this Tuesday.

What a lovely drawing of the woman. I agree, she looks a bit shocked. Thanks for sharing your photos, art, and tea with us for T this Tuesday.

One of my grams only ever bought Maytags. She loved them.

I love the looking up. Very pretty. Trees are my most fave of all. I can look at them for hours.

Wishing you a fun rest of the week. Cheers, Ivy.

Hard to tell, but could those nests be squirrel nests? They look rather big. If the woman with the shocked face was here on Monday, she looks shocked because we had a coating of snow on the ground! Lovely pastel drawings. Happy T Day

Your weather sounds similar to mine in New Hampshire. Only a couple of really spring like days, but this is the old fashioned March I remember. And I agree about appliances. Been having a few issues with them myself. But your painting is really gorgeous (well your pastel piece), or should I say pieces as the face is wonderful too. Those blue eyes really stand out. I hope it was a super T day and have a great rest of your week. hugs-Erika

Oh, yes. Definitely could be squirrels nests. They do look rather fluffy.
Thank you, CJ.
Have a lovely weekend.

Oh to draw or paint would be wonderful. Love, love your pastel as well as the girl and her pretty blue eyes. I had to get another desktop as they no longer monitored or updated Windows 10, but I do really like a desktop vs a phone for some things. Glad you were able to get your repaired. Lovely photos. Thanks for sharing at Peabea Scribbles. :)

In like a lion, out like a lamb. One can only hope. I had my washing machine for 25 years before it died. A sad day! (Same with the dryer and the stove made it for almost 40 years! You're right -- they don't make 'em like they used to! My fridge is at 36!) Like you, I love seeing the nests. And your face is fabulous! Happy week!

Beautiful sky shots, Dixie.
Your marsh pastel is so serene, and the face drawing really captures that surprised March feeling.
I love the colors you’ve used.
